The Colts already beat down NE @ their place in prime time. Their D has played much better at home then on the road, so Maroney/Dillon will not be showing them anymore than the 140 yards they had in the first meeting. SD, well that is another beast.

if the Pats end up beating SD on the road...then they can def beat Colts on the road

While someone else already pointed out how absolutely idiotic this particular statement is, I feel the need to point it out as well. Indy went into Foxboro (the toughest place for any team to win, at least it was on Tagliabue's watch) and beat them this year. While this doesn't mean that they'll for sure beat NE if they get them, I'd say that's a little stronger than "SD > IND, so NE will have no problem".

BTW, despite my title, I'm fully willing to admit Peyton played a very mediocre game today. However, against the best defense in the league, and one that's almost as good as the one the Ravens rode to their SB title, let's be honest, that's to be expected. He made a lot of bad throws today into coverage, but that's the only throws he had a lot of the time. He's the best QB in the game, he can play a lot better, and I think he will next week. He's got to one of these years.

People can talk about breaks all they want, but that's football. The Pats caught a huge break against Oakland with the tuck rule, and had that not happened, there's a chance none of us would even care about Tom Brady, the OK 6th round QB from Michigan that got Bledsoe's job when he got hurt. Being in the right place at the right time can be "luck", and that's ok with me. The pick being whistled dead was a tough call, but that's the human error.

I'm really torn though - I can't bring myself to cheer for the Patriots, but I really don't want to have ANOTHER tough game against San Diego. I still think SD is the favorite to win it all, but I want the AFC title game in the RCA dome. I'll be watching very close tomorrow.
