Default Re: Variance(?): I want to purchase a firearm

It's sorta hard to carry a larger gun for CCW. You really have to dress around the gun. Alot of good CCW guns are Kel-tec 32 and p3at which is a .380 caliber. They are tiny tiny so you can throw them into your jeans pocket and forget all about them.

If you want a revolver a popular choice is the J-frame Smith.

Glocks are nice. I have one that never gives me any problems. You can get them relatively cheap( im not sure about the 10mm version, but 9mm versions you can find decently cheap)

The really small guns are not a joy to shoot, so if you want one to take to the range and play with you really dont want a tiny gun such as the Kel-Tec.

Also price range matter if you are choosing one. Some people are suggesting guns such as kimber .45 which can be over a thousand dollars.

All the sig guns 220, 226 etc are great guns and always get great reviews. As do the springfield XD series which is available in at least 9mm, .40, and .45. Im not sure about 10mm.

Ding Dong,
They do make 10mm I think the FBI uses them.

Glocks are really nice first guns because they dont require much upkeep to keep in good condition. Also since they are extremely popular they are easy to find used. Spare parts, magazines, etc are really easy to find too.

You prolly want to maybe rent some guns at a range or go to a gun show to just feel some guns in your hand. Some may be too big/small for your hands.

anything else?
