If I think the Jets have a 20% chance of winning then 4-1 would be the perfectly correct odds, no? If you go to my high end of 25% then I'm getting a slightly profitable bet. I hardly see why that would be something I couldn't pass up.

Yes, 20% is breakeven. However, if they have a 25% chance of winning, your ROI would be 25%, which isn't slightly profitable.
