Yeah, it's the fact that those "few bad passes" could have (and against a better team would have) lost the game which causes me to say that he had a terrible game. However it's nice that as you point out he:
1. Had a really good completion rate on those short passes.
2. Only played slightly worse than an average QB with similar passes thrown.
