Yeah but as a 4-3 defense blitzing your opening up parts of the field. Manning does enough film work that he learns how teams blitz. Hypothetical: Safety(call him Donovan Darius) inches up, Manning now sees he has 1-on-1 on a side of the field. Now this is where most QB's either get nervous or confused. They don't read the blitz correctly and look the one way that the free safety is sitting, easy interception or batted ball. If they read it correctly but don't get the ball off in time, its a sack. Manning almost always knows exactly what is going on and makes the line call.
It's quite fun to watch, it just sucks that he has done it against the Jags time and time again. Once 3-4 teams realized Mannings and every other QB's main weakness they capitalized. This weakness is the 3-4 zone Blitz. It's by far the hardest blitz to read and any QB will get confused.
How to beat Manning? Like Noodle said, his supporting cast better make mistakes.
