Re: New Year Resolutions: What and why?
I weighed 278lb on the 1st January. I've read the charts/sites/etc, and want to get down to 196 to suit my height and build (just over 6'2" and large frame). I have 82lb to lose. Taking into account breaks for holidays, I want to lose roughly 7lb a month for the next year.
I will be sticking to aerobic exercise only (walking, running, rowing) for the first 6 months, and if it's going well still in July, I will also throw in weight training.
I have to eat properly and sparingly, and get my Zzzzzzzs.
It's going to be tough.
So my first goal is to lose 7lb by 1st February. I'll keep you posted.
