Default Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: January (nc)**

so january has not gone so well for me so far, today was beginning the same way, i lost 50 cents real quick on a missed draw(5NL), then just sat for a while stealing blinds(thanks PAHUD, just got the serial today). after 100 hands of stealing blinds and being colder than eskimo coot, this little beauty pops up.

the villian wasnt getting out of line, until the few hands before this one. had raised preflop the last 3-4 hands, i called him down to fold the river with pocket 10's the previous hand hoping to hit. he was giving me odds and bet 10 cents on every street, same as his preflop raise. i had position on him as well. so this hand comes next, i smile and tell my monitor that i want him to raise again.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($0.98)
UTG+1 ($0.98)
MP1 ($4.70)
MP2 ($1.50)
CO ($2.41)
Hero ($4.25)
SB ($6.06)
BB ($5)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $0.02.
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.02, MP2 (poster) checks, CO raises to $0.1, Hero raises to $0.26, 2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO calls $0.16.

reraise since villian has been raising the last few preflops. that is my friggen button. should this raise have been bigger? i still have trouble with reraise sizing.

Flop: ($0.59) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.42, CO calls $0.42.

ha, TPTK sucka, i ownz you. bet close to pot to eliminate odds for the FD, although i know you're calling so it doesnt matter.

Turn: ($1.43) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.78, CO calls $0.78.

what a freaking ugly card, after the call, i figure i am WA/WB. perhaps villian just had some decent cards a few hands in a row, it could happen. screw me sideways.

River: ($2.99) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $1.02, CO calls $0.95 (All-In).

and the money shot, i am WA or we are choppin like some friggen black belts. all in sucka, just in case.

Final Pot: $4.96

Results below:
CO has 3c Ac (one pair, aces).
Hero has Kc As (straight, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins $4.95.

A3? ship it.

on a side note, without PAHUD, none of my breakeven over the last 90 hands would have been possible. i dont steal all that often unless i see someone that is folding every hand and plays one every few orbits. PAHUD showed me the goods so i could play better. i single tabled for probly an hour just so i can get used to have the stats and quickly determine what is up with a hand, without letting the stats determine how i play preflop.(no limping with A4o just because OOP villian limps and plays 90% of his hands.)
