I like the cash-incentives.
But if I had the option for much more value via a land-based tourney rebate I would very likely do that.
But I really don't think it is realistic for them to say:
At 200k milestone you can either have $2000 cash (which is really $1200) or a $6000 tourney-rebate.
That's just too great a difference to make sense I think.
The $6000 tourney rebate gets you most of the way to an entire EPT package (which I think are valued around $8500 or so).
I definitely wouldn't complain if they did this but I think the requests to Stars need to be realistic.
I also wouldn't complain if they offered the Aston Martin for 24 FPP's.

Hey Bob,
One thing to keep in mind is that a player has to spend way more FPPs to purchase a land based tourney than the bonus.
50K FPPs versus 700k FPPs.
I also was not including the EPT events in my example which are less expensive. The tourney credit could be a certain percentage off at each level versus a dollar amount. For example maybe someone hitting 200K in VPPs would receive a 35% discount off any major tourney package. For a 700K FPP tourney, this would mean you could purchase it for 450k FPP.
I think the tourney discount should be larger than the bonus since the player would be spending way more FPPs to realize the credit. In this particular example, 450K FPPS versus 50K FPPS.
The figures I worked backwards (approximately) from what they were offering the SN Elites in tourney packages - 30K.
I assumed each level would get their proportionate share in value when comapred to the Elites.
Naturally this is a faulty assumption, but when you ask for something, I was taught to ask high and then come down. That is easier to accomplish versus the opposite.
I think there is a happy medium which would satisfy many more players and benefit both Stars and players.
ALso, I know it is hard to turn back the clock, but I sure wish they had not added so much money (1 Million) to the free rolls and offered a little bit more of that back to the 200k+ VPP players
