I taught Washington Redskin WR Antwaan Randle-El how to spot and call balks when we umpired baseball together his sophomore year of college.

I went to high school with Chicago Bear QB Rex Grossman's sister.

My friend and I ran into Dave Winfield at a sports memorabilia convention he was signing autographs at, and he threw balls with us at one of the "see how fast you can throw" things. He was really nice.

I met former-IU guard Keith Smart on several occasions. He's really nice.

I've been 10 feet from Bobby Knight, but didn't want to meet him.

I met former Indiana governor Evan Bayh when I was in college.
