prevents cancer? i dunno. i'm pretty sure there's no benefit at all. actually, i've been asked to shave it numerous times by numerous people. i probably should, since i can grow it back in a week anyway.

I'd be curious as to what made you think to do it in the first place, since it's not an "obvious" beard/goatee style (or is that chin-ee?).

I'm always a fan of "not the same as everyone else" but intrigued by the original motivations...

it used to be a lot bigger (engulfed more of the chin area), but i cut it down to under the jaw for some reason at some point and left it that way. fwiw, i just shaved it all off thirty minutes ago.
