I was thinking about doing a post like this too. I'm not sure of the order, but my list definitely has:
Planescape: Torment
Ocarina of Time
Oblivion
Metroid Prime
Half Life
Honorable mentions to NHL 93/94 for Genesis, KOTOR, Civ, Quest for Glory, Mario Kart & Baldur's Gate. (If I really forced myself to think about it, I might even move some of these into the top 5.)
