Yeah seriously, you shouldn't be applying to just NU, you should be able to get into a better school with a 1510, even with just a 2.9.
Incidently, if you're gonna try for UNC/Cali Schools, you might as well try for a top 25 school. UNC only takes 18% out of state, so its really hard to get into, the Cali schools are really hard too for similar reasons.
