Default Re: Never Trust Anyone

Brandi,

There ARE people that you will be able to trust in your life. Those people include family members and friends that have demonstrated to you time and again that they will be there for you and have your best interests at heart. You, in turn, need to provide that level of respect and trustworthiness back to them. This coordinated and delicate dance takes a lifetime to nurture.

You should not expect to find that level of trust and goodwill in a man that you met briefly and whom makes a living by being the best liar at the table.

Having said that, I would recommend that you now turn to a woman in your life that you trust (mother, aunt, teacher, counselor) that can help you to brainstorm ways to exact revenge. This could be very interesting and cathartic and much more effective than posting on a message board that may or may not be frequented by people that are concerned for your welfare.

Or, you could just chalk this up as a valuable and hard-learned lesson in life. We have all experienced our share of stupid mistakes and mis-spent trust.

Remember that, throughout your life, I absolutely guarantee that certain people will test how far they can push you and that you will need to learn to stand up for yourself, push back, and come back over the top every now and again.

Take care and good luck.

(The above written applies even if it turned out that Brandi Rose was an internet troll dreamt up by an extremely bored and ill person, and even if this story turned out to be bogus, the advice applies. Skepticism is healthy in this case and obv. warranted, but threats of suicide should never slip by unnoticed.)
