Default Re: 4/180 two hands in a row, (table image question)

Hand 1:

I don't like open-raising from EMP with ATs. Chances are you'll be dominated by the hands that are going to give you action. So at best it's a steal, and then you might choose to do it with any two (or at least a hand that will be better disguised if you hit the flop) - at worst you're trapping yourself badly.

Add'lly I think it's too early in the tournament to open for less than full raise. At this level I'll make it 600 or even 700. At this point 2.5BB open-raise is going to get callers with a wide range of hands, and after the flop it's going to be real tough for you to figure out where you are.

And finally I would make a bigger c-bet. There are a shipload of draws out there, and finesse in c-better only pays off against players who pay attention and who's capable of folding mediocre hands and draws. If you haven't seen your opponent do that I suggest a c-bet of at least 1,000 here.

Regarding table image in a $4.40/180: I wouldn't worry too much about it. 90% of your opponents will exclusively be playing their own cards, and even if they have noticed that you rarely enter a pot it's probably not going to stop them from playing the hands they like, whether you're in the pot or not.
