Perhaps you used him, perhaps he wanted to use you, who's to say? You are young, you are smart, you are pretty. Do what you will, but youth and looks are fleeting, so despair if you must, but you are wasting time. Make it right with yourself and those you love, the rest is noise. Poker is nothing but a means to an end, that end being putting food on the table, why choose such a vacuous path? You are wasting yourself, do not dedicate yourself to a game. Will pursuit of competence at a game bring you contentment? Not a chance in hell, forego this illusory dream and seek that which will bring you fulfillment. You will not find it in poker.
