Re: OT: Goggles needs life help, part deuce.
ok, first, a huge f'k you for making me type all this crap when i saw you like yesterday. everyone knows to ask me on life stuff, and everyone knows i hate to type. i'm also a friendly drunk.
ok, where you live has nothing to do with anything here. self motivation is the issue. nomatter where you live, you still have to be the one to motivate yourself. no roommate is gonna do that for you.
your basicaly saying you need a boss to tell you to work for you to be productive. I've been self-employed for years, and have known many, many self employed people with the same problem. They either fix it, or they fail and they go work for someone.
so, what to do. set goals. start with no less than 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, and stick to it. get into the habit of working everyday. then make it 30 hours a week, and hit that goal. weekly is better, cause it's more flexible, so after your used to working each day, do weekly.
DONT make short term money goals! the goal is hours /week or month, not $$$/week.
pick some people to send your "timesheet" to each week that will give you [censored] if you miss you goals. pick people outside of poker that make $10 or less an hour at a hard job. they wanna give you [censored] anyway, so those are the same people you will try to avoid giving them a reason.
moving and changing you suroundings can't hurt, but if you don't work on the real problem at the same time, it won't help either.
