You'll have to watch the Discovery Health special or USBL footage to decide whether or not you think he has average athletic skills now.
Once you see that, compare that to what you would consider "average" and then think about the fact that this guy is trying hard to make it in the USBL right now.
David's player would eventually start, but not right out of the gate.
