Could be just a personal memory thing. I never refer to a person by the first name and last initial; if I need to differentiate between two people with the same first name, I use their entire last name, or some other nickname or descriptor. Perhaps Pvt. Joker does it differently.

Yeah. Still, it seems like some other descriptor would work better. "D-cup Jen," "unshaven Jen," "insane Jen," etc.
If you're that worried about anonymity, it seems to me you're better off keeping such a list somewhere other than your drawer. Or just using a bunch of checkmarks to count.
Or, it could just be a personal memory thing.
