so goin into the final i had a 92%A and after taking the final which was multiple choice (statics course...kind of like advanced physics for mechanical engineers)....I recieve my grade of a 49% F over all in the course...I called the head of the department and he told me that I got a 3% on the final and failed the course...

How is that even possible?
If it's multiple choice with, say, 5 choices per question, wouldn't you get 20% just by guessing?
