For years it was definitely Ali, but I don't know if that still true. I wouldn't be suprised if it was now Woods.

I think golf is virtual non-entity in many parts of the world.

Every country has boxing and soccer.

At this point David Beckham is probably more famous world wide than Tiger Woods is.
