I think any sort of SEMITHINKINGCAPABLE opponent realizes that there's almost no way we could possibly hold an 8 here.

No draw really missed except for the TJ gutshot which i completely rule out. So the chances that he bluffs when we check to him are very minimal.

I would like to think that we would have heard something from a set/2 pair by now.

One pair is still possible (9T/9J and the likes).

Given all that I'm still clueless as to what to do. Does anyone actually check fold here for only 30 more dollars? or do we check call?

Does anyone think shoving here is a good idea? We might get called by overpairs/one pair hands that were content with checking the river...and if we were going to check call anyway...the only hand that we're folding out are bluffs (which I have already ruled out)
