Default Re: *Official Fantasy Football \"What Do You Think of This Trade\" Thread* 2

I've posted about this team before. It's a 14-team Yahoo! league, 1 pt for 10 rec/rush yards. Start 2 RB, 3 WR, and 1 TE.

Someone in my league is looking for an RB, and is offering Marques Colston. It's a Yahoo! league, so Colston has TE eligibility. Earlier, I traded this guy Tatum Bell for Droughns, Reggie Brown, and Reggie Williams, and then I turned around and flipped Williams for Travis Henry.

Here's my current roster:

RB (start 2): Tomlinson, K. Jones, Droughns, Henry, Jones-Drew
WR (3): A. Johnson, Boldin, Re. Brown, Mason, Curtis, Lloyd (yeah, I know, but there are add/drop fees in this leauge and I haven't needed Lloyd's roster spot yet).
TE (1): Crumpler

I am going to try to add Anthony Thomas for Lloyd (we take turns with transactions and I am third-to-last this week, but there aren't a ton of transactions done each week), which may give me additional ammo to try and nab Colston.

Here's the real issue. As I mentioned, there is a fee for transactions in this league. At the end of the year, the team with the most overall points gets all the money in that pool.

I am currently leading the league in scoring by 40 points. The guy who has Colston is second overall in scoring, and the next closest guy is 86 points behind him. So with five weeks left in the season, it's looking very much like a two horse race.

Villain's relevant roster:

RB: L. Johnson, T. Bell, Jacobs, D. Williams
WR: Colston, Houshmandzadeh, Welker, Matt Jones, Caldwell
TE: Heap

My question is: would it be wise for me to offer Droughns or Henry for Colston? I think K. Jones is obviously too much (and Henry probably too little, though he might take it), but Colston would be a great upgrade to my third WR spot.

Thanks very much in advance.

EDIT: Just to clarify some, I think the trickiest part of this is not improving his team to the point where he threatens my overall points lead. I think losing Colston will be too much for him to overcome with his other WR, but I'm not certain.
