Re: ask me about: hustling golf

I'm trying to be a better short game player as you describe yourself. If I short side myself and there is some grass below the ball I don't have a problem with my 60*.
The problem is short siding myself on hard pan dirt or no grass. I have no confidence and if I just pitch it I'm left with a long ass putt. Do you have less bounce on your lob to make it more versatile and what disadvantages am I taking with less bounce.
Should I take out my 2 iron and play with 2 different lob wedges? Also I am good friends with someone and everytime he marks his ball and putts it back he's a good 1.5 inch closer to the cup. How do I bring this up without basically insinuating that my friend is an angle shooter.

im using the callaway mack daddy phil mickelson 60. the thing is a knife (no bounce)
is your friend winning or losing? if hes losing just let him keep on. if hes winning or pulling even mark yours 1.5 inches closer or tell him about an article you read on marking a ball and how "blown away" at how precise you have to be to avoid a penalty.
