I didn't see this the first time. I'd love to hear limon's take on this, this is exactly what I was getting at. I think it was Bob Toski who when he marked his ball was discovered to flip his quarter forward all in the same motion.
I've never seen someone mark in front and replace in front when I cared/for money-- I'd simply call them out WHEN THEY MARK, directly and not discreetly. If it is a matter of replacing not where they marked you immediately say: "heck, mark it again and you'll be in the hole." Don't be ginger around that.
edit: oops. I should add. If you are a hustler, and it doesn't hurt the balance of your edge-- than nothing is an option.
