I'm trying to be a better short game player as you describe yourself. If I short side myself and there is some grass below the ball I don't have a problem with my 60*.
The problem is short siding myself on hard pan dirt or no grass. I have no confidence and if I just pitch it I'm left with a long ass putt. Do you have less bounce on your lob to make it more versatile and what disadvantages am I taking with less bounce.
Should I take out my 2 iron and play with 2 different lob wedges? Also I am good friends with someone and everytime he marks his ball and putts it back he's a good 1.5 inch closer to the cup. How do I bring this up without basically insinuating that my friend is an angle shooter.
