Now try talking about the House, which is what I was clearly talking about, because Ive already said the Dems arent taking the Senate.
Keep moving the goalposts. This is our conversation in this thread:
You say:
To gloat you need to sweep almost all the close races
I say: Um, that doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't it be better to win 45 out of 60, rather than 35 out of 40?
You ignore that, and say:
A senate majority and a resounding win in the house are the goalposts
I say: That's idiotic. All that matters in the house is a majority, and the senate is a real stretch cause there are fewer R seats to contest.
You say: nothing
I say: paging Copernicus
You say: It's like being spotted 21 points in a football game.
I say: Thanks for making that up. Certainly, running nationwide races against the party in power is just like being spotted 21 points in a football game. Here are the actual stats of senate gains in 6th year elections, so that you could see that a 4-seat gain is actually a good showing.
You say: But, um, I wasn't talking about the senate. Tell me about the house!
I say: Why should I bother? You're just backpedalling and ignoring anybody who proves you wrong.
