another fundamental mistake of TV poker viewers: the obvious tell. You have no information except a section in Caro's book and a 2 second tv clip. There is no way for you to determine what a tell is or isn't.

Exactly. They edit this so heavily so there's no way you can see if a closeup is really from that hand. Another thing to remember is that even if MM did pick up a tell on SL there was only one hand that could beat him and even if it did beat him he still had plenty of chips after that. Going all in was the right play at that moment.
