Wow, Hardly any decent analysis in this entire thread. Remember that Lazar/Danneman were each 2 of the 3 smallest stacks heading into the final table so they need to get chips. Too suggest that Mike should have gotten away is ludicrous.
Lazar had just over 3mill in chips before the hand, mike had 7.5 mil. There is 250,000 g's in the pot before play even starts. Danneman makes a standard raise and Lazar raises it up to a million which is a pretty standard play. He only has 2.5 mil left behind. There is no way to put him on AA here, he could be isolating with QQ/JJ or AK. If Mike were to just call Lazar would only have a pot sized bet left so he is getting it all in anyway. Everyone is going to push with KK here preflop when you have twice the stack of your opponnent.
