[censored] banned me on his last day for a thread I started about another thread. It was where I urged voters in the Speilburg poll to vote for Raiders. This was a minor violation of The Repetition Rule

you are not expected to know the details of every post that occurs in oot, but at least take the time to scan the front page for threads that might be on the same topic. if it's a big news event like a celebrity dying, a spreading-link-wildfire funny video link, or that sort of thing odds are high that it's been covered already. this also applies to the known repetition of existing threads. related but less interesting copycat threads are seldom welcome, and ones that obviously didn't deserve breaking off from their parent to form a new thread never are.

It was my good fortune (and your misfortune) that [censored] quit that very same day and I was reinstated as part of the general amnesty. I felt much like a murderer would feel if he was let out of prison with a bunch of shoplifters.
