I think it's pretty obvious that what people typically find gross depends a ton on what the context/expectations are. People are used to guys blasting. It's been part of sex for a long time. People are not used to women squirting because it's a relative rarity; hell, there are at least some people in this thread that don't seem to be sure that it exists. Add in sex, and I think that anything that people find unusual/outside of the norm will frequently get the first response "Ewww."
