I agree with Goldmund. Fold anything lower than KQ. I like to be the one making others call with top pair only, not the one making that call. The fact that it's the first hand shouldn't influence your decision that much. Only a small percentage of the players out there make the "play crazy the first few hands and show garbage" play.

I'm thinking against a sane thinking person making this play, bottom two, bottom or middle set, or TPTK are most likely. I mean, who's making this play with K9 and thinking he's gonna get called with anything he can beat? And if the person is bad enough to make this kind of play with K9, chances are decent he will hang himself eventually when you have a monster.
