Motor City dealers are a little faster than Greektown.
I sat at Greektown's NL game one night and the dealer got out 4 hands in a half hour (30 minutes.) Brutal.
The thing with beating Detroit poker is that you have to be super selective about the games you play in and play consistantly super well, otherwise you will break even or lose. The higher you play the better chance you have of beating the house, but the tougher players you will encounter (although not necessarily all the time).
The rake and the time charges are too brutal, no matter how you slice it. I am not good enough to beat Detroit poker. I am a break even player here, although I do well in Vegas, AC, and on the Internet.
