Why is Korean food so damned expensive? Like the place around here like $18-$25 per dinner.

That's weird. Around here you could feed four people with two entrees, a soup, and maybe an order of Korean pancake (pah-juhn). The bill would be around $50.

I would wager that's in part because you're good at finding hole-in-the-wall like places up in the North End. Imagine Korean Food on some Wild Ginger type [censored], then it probably does get pricey.

I'm sure that this might have something to do with it, but there aren't a lot of upscale Korean restaurants in the area that I know about. I've tried a couple of places downtown, but they weren't super-expensive either.
But you could be right. I want to go where the Korean people eat.

The most expensive one i know of is blue ginger in bellvue. But there are several better and less expensive options here.
