Re: Lake Elsinore - Any decent size limit or NL lately?

Last night was double jackpot, so it was very busy. The jackpot is up to 35K, so the double brought everyone out.
There is almost always a 20/40 and a 100-500 NL with 5 & 5 blinds. Some nights there will be 2 games of each of these. If it is really humming, they will also have a PLO game going, which is the best game in the house. The 8-16 has been going lately, but is usually not in the lineup. Always good when it goes.
There has never been a 20/50 game that one of the posters alluded to.
Rick, tell them you also want to start a list for a $500-$1000 NL game (5-10 blinds)...they almost got it going last night.
***Although it's probably too late for you to see any of this...If you need any other info PM me.***

We went early today. Both of us played small and had lunch, then went to the movies behind the casino (The Prestige, my friend's choice, I give it three stars out of five). The 20/40 started around 3:30pm, I played a while then started the 5-5 blind NL. Was feeling sort of goofy/dizzy and was way up in a tight game so went to a second movie (Flags of Our Fathers - I give it four stars) while my friend played on. After the movie I chopped again in the 5-5 NL, doubling through an LA player I've played lots of 20/40 stud/8 against.
You seem to be right on regarding games. I may try to make it out for an overnighter on a Thursday. My friend can't play late and it really isn't that far.
In general the day games are quite a bit tighter than the equivalent LA games, at the same time you just don't get many moves put on you so its a good place to play if you like it tight and predictable. My guess is that later at night it opens up.

PS I also liked the fact that I was one of the younger players
PPS I noticed they have some $100 no rebuy tournaments with only $10 juice. That's the way it used to be everywhere.
