I think we must play in different games. Most of the 6-max games I find from 2/4 to 5/10 tend to be loose passive and it's not unusual to see moer than 50% of hands be four-handed or more.
I also find that if I am doing a lot of raising and reraising, that tends to loosen the game up even more.
