Re: ask pryor15 about anything--anything at all
pryor,
My grandma and her side of the family were born and raised in Bar Harbor, ME and, other than my grandmoms, now reside in Bangor. I have been to both places and have to say the only distinguishing thing about Bangor was that Stephen King lived there and Bar Harbor was just a [censored] tourist place that was once a great place to visit. So, my question is: is there anything to do other than hunt and be colder than meant to be in Waldoboro? What is this place like?
P.S. I just got around to picking up The Red House Painters (took forever I know), I have the album with the carnivel on the front (my favorite) and "Songs For a Blue Guitar." I just wanted to thank you for the rec, they are great, really great but when I was listening to them they sounded very familiar--ahhh I had been listening to the lead singer's new band Sun Kill Moon lately and didn't know anything about the connection. Very nice. So this is part counter recommendation (Sun Kill Moon).
