if he c/red you with a made hand, why would he slowdown on a blank river? If he c/red with spades, he's not calling.
It feels like he'll either c/r you again or just fold a missed draw.

If he does have spades, given his flop c/r he may well also have a pair (Jxs) which will call the river cuz no one folds a pair. But I'm worried about a straight/monster of some sort or another missed draw (diamonds) so I still like a check.
