Default Re: How many young players out there actually make it???

I am trying to make myself have better money management, as that was my downfall in my first onine venture. I am up to 1200 right now and will be getting paid close to 400 in rakeback at the end of this month, so I should be sitting pretty and ready to step up to 50 NL with around 1600. I like being over-rolled as I said so I don't fear bad days, but the downside is winning doesn't feel quite as good and it can become more of a grind, but I want to make money playing this game so bad I am willing to do it. Time is also another thing your sacrificing. Once I get around to 2500 I plan on cashing out the original 200 I deposited and adding two tables of NL 100 while playing my other two or 3 at 50 NL still. Hopefully unless I hit a bad variance run I will be at NL 200 level with a nice 5000 roll by summer at the latest. I don't set goals for myself time wise though, I just play as best I can and try and get better and the money takes care of itself. When I say the end of summer I'm just gauging.
