Agreed, the poker scene was absurd. Even from a moral standpoint, I would think Hiro would be against cheating another player rather than the casino.

That struck me as just flat lazy writing. Also the whole bit with the roulette could have been done a lot better. Plucking the ball from mid-air to have it lang on a number seems a little iffy. I suppose some of this you can chalk up to Hiro and his homey being dumb, but some of it just seems like the kinda sloppy plotting that's all too typical in [censored] comics.
