Well, for first time applicants I bet the acceptance rate isn't much over 10%. I don't really remember the data, I thought it was around 30% of applicants eventually get in, but a lot of people end up reapplying. As long as you have a few 'safety schools' then I'm sure you will be fine. You beat me (barely) and I got accepted to my top choice and a few others, but my top choice wasn't Harvard or JHU.
Don't underestimate the luck factor. It really is a crapshoot. I'd recommend applying to at least 7-10 schools. You just never know.
