I think you can safely remove LSU from contention. To win the SEC champ. they need to win the SEC west.
To do that, they'd need to pass Arkansas, and, more importantly, Auburn. Auburn has 1 SEC loss, LSU has 2 including to Auburn. For LSU to leap over Auburn, then, Auburn would have to find 2 more losses within Tulane, Ole Miss, Arkansas St., Georgia, and Alabama. I have trouble finding one, let alone 2 losses in there. (Also, LSU would have to go undefeated, which is possible but maybe difficultt with Tennessee still hanging around in there).
