Default Re: NL Holdem at the Muckleshoot?

Evidently, your opinion isn't based on experience at mucks.

[ QUOTE ]
Jackpot games are not a draw for high limit players. What happens in a case like the Mucks is that the jackpot is allowed to grow so large that it is skewing perceptions. All of the high limit players I know hate the jackpot games. Many stay away for that reason.

Personally, I don't mind if the high limit nits stay away. They obviously don't understand what that lil' extra $1 brings in terms of action. It more than pays for itself. Granted, that's alot more true for 20-40 and 30-60 than for the 50-100 game. The 50 game the JP might not help as much just because of the size of the limit.

Apparently, you didn't see what happened to the higher games at mucks when they took the JP off the higher games. I did. It sucked.

[ QUOTE ]
I'm willing to bet that you would get better value for your dollar by buying a lottery ticket that would pay millions if hit rather than paying 10 to 20 dollars a night for a shot at 100+K.

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't why I want the JP back on the game. I could care less about hitting the JP.

[ QUOTE ]
What the Mucks needs to do is make the jackpot easier to hit and get rid of jackpots in the red chip games. They might keep in in the 10-20 but in the games higher than that dump the jackpot.

[/ QUOTE ]

ummm...they did take it away from the bigger games and it just about killed it. It's slowly came back, but not near to the level it was when they had the JP on.

No, they need to put it back on. And hopefully, since about 20+ signed a petition to get it back on, it will be put back on. It was supposed to happen in Sept. But then the mucks moves slower than government.

I agree that they should make the JP easier to hit, though. About when it hits around $25k is good. Always was good before.
