If you are talking about the full version of the casino (not the freeplay side) 500 is just the maximum in the drop down box. Just highlight the box and type in 5000 or whatever.

try typing in 5000. when i do, it automatically maxes out at 500. typing '99' and then another '9' makes it change to 500...
