Oscar-worthy: DiCaprio and Nicholson. DiCaprio has the edge.
Surprising performance: Wahlberg. Didn't know he could act.
If anything the screenplay should get a Oscar nod. Movie was two and a half hours and it went like nothing.
Edit: Almost forgot. Oscar for Scorsese. He pulled it off.
