I was probably 3 or 4, had not started going to school yet and liked playing with mom's sewing machine to the point where she had to put chains and a lock on the handles after this incident.

So yeah, needle through digit on left hand. I'm guessing I started making enough noise to get my mom to come and be horrified before loosening the needle from the machine and then taking me to the hospital where they had to put me in a straight jacket. Story is the circulation/blood/(something?) was being blocked from my finger and going up my arm to my shoulder and then heart before they got the needle out. If it got to my heart I would've died is the story. No scars or anything and I don't remember anything from the day, just what I've been told.
