When the WTO starts granting people immunity from American copyright laws, they'll care. Not because they'll care themselves, but because our corporations will get pissed.

I think this sanction has teeth. The US may not care about the WTO, but they will care when American companies start contributing to their opponents campaigns because their opponent is in favor of regulating online gambling and complying with the WTO.

Not a short term help, but may help before the banking regulations kick in.

Possible?: The study bill could amend the 270 day study to a longer period of time, allowing for a study. The banking industry would likely support this, and now that Frist's little manuever has made him the new Abramoff, there might be a correction mentality in the next session. WTO sanctions would go along way to help this. No?
