The avatar is a concise statment.
Pointing out the flaws in the comparison is akin to pointing out flaws in analogies... they always exist. It is the siliarities that are important, the rest is assumed to not be part of the comparison.
His avatar does not say Frist is identical to Hitler in every single way.
Have you never seen a political cartoon with GWB with horns and a pitchfork? Do you email the cartoonist and point out that Satan is a fallen angel, whereas GWB is a politician and the cartoon is inaccurate? Of course not.
The avatar may be disturbing to some people but that is often what makes a visual statement effective. I am guessing that seeing Frist in a nazi get up is probably not very high on the shock meter, even for Jewish people, but I really don't know.
The fact that it is on a google news story is GREAT in my opinion. This guy wants to be president!!
