Why is that? I'm rereading Sklansky SSHE now. I was surprised to read the thumbs down on cold calling.
I'm unclear on why this is such a negative.
Is it primarily to fatten the pot?
To drive out those who've yet to act?
To intimidate the original raiser?
Or, as some would claim, that any hand that's good enough to start with should be good enough to raise with?
