bilbo,
How many tables do you play on PR? I seem to recall their client being very software intensive and annoying. Do you use neteller for PR? Are the peak hours different? (swedish fish??)

1 4-table, and FWIW I don't think I will ever have the mental discipline to do more than that no matter how much I practice, so that's fine for me -- also, at levels above NL200 (my current stakes), I doubt table selection is good enough to do 8 tables, anyway.
Yes, the software sucks. A LOT. The worst being that for reasons unknown to me, sometimes when I click in a window, the cursor ends up in the chat box instead of in the betting amount box. So I end up typing some number in the chat box, and hitting F3 for "bet" and min-raising/min-betting. This often puts me on monkey-tilt.
Dunno if peak hours are different. In the US daytime, there are less 50+ VPiP fish, but the TAGs there are mostly very, very bad. They have a propensity to stack off deep with one pair versus other TAGs, which imho is a very, very stupid, and to min-raise sets (also very very stupid) even on flushy boards, they don't re-raise very lightly, and when they do, they'll often RR too small. I basically never, ever bluff them, because they rarely adjust to the fact that THIS time their opponent is not one of the fish.
At the peak times it is not AT ALL uncommon to have 2 55/17/2 guys, one 35/8/2 guy, and one TAG on a 5-player table. But players there are insanely uber-aggro. I can't believe the [censored] they will bluff with, or the trash they will "value bet" with if you check to them. I had a lot of trouble adjusting from party at first, because I was betting too hard in places, and not check-calling enough. Basically, they will interpret EVERY check you make as a sign of weakness, and there are many players who will make a move in every single pot (even in cases where they have a moderate showdown hand that they could check down).
