Sorry guys, but until they start showing you every hand on TV, you will have no real clue as to whether we were lucky or unlucky, or played great or terrible. What you see on TV is such a smidgeon of what really happened, it is almost irrelevant. It is only good for entertainment value, NOT for instruction.
[/ QUOTE ] Mostly yes, but one thing TV poker has done is taught me a lot about percentages and which hands are favored over which, etc. That's been pretty useful to me in for example responding to a reraise. I can think about the possible hands my opponent has and by watching TV poker so much recite to myself the odds of winning against each hand would be.
Anyway I would go with Harrington. Four final tables over his career, and two in this new era of poker alone. Its impossible to pick a winner, but I like his chances of a money finish in any given WSOP.
